Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL)
Preparation classes for the TOEFL Exam are available for advanced English students who are ready to pursue a university education. This course prepares you for the TOEFL exam. TOEFL is required by all American universities and colleges for foreign students wishing to attend. The preparation classes for the TOEFL test requires a placement test to determine if you are ready for this program.
ISL's prepration classes for the TOEFL Exam concentrate on your total language development, which will help you improve your language skills to achieve good results on this test.
Practice tests will be given which simulates actual TOEFL test conditions as much as possible. All sections listening, grammar and reading are given back-to-back and are timed. Written skills are also practiced for the TWE (Test of Written English). A timed essay is given each week with topics that can be seen on any TOEFL or TWE exam. At the end of the eight-week session, the paper-based Institutional TOEFL is offered.
