Finding a quality place to live in the city of Los Angeles can be difficult. However, ISL has arrangements* with local host families and apartments for your convenience. For assistance with housing placement, we will be more than happy to assist you.
What types of housing are available?
ISL suggests the following:
Homestay
- Affordable living.
- Furnished private room.
- English conversational practice with host family.
- Easy access to ISL.
- No long term commitment required.
Shared Apartment
- Shared typically with only 1 other person.
- Furnished apartment.
- Extra ammenities such as a pool or jacuzzi. (subject to availability/location)
- Easy access to ISL.
- No long term commitment required.
Prices and terms are as follows:

Important additional information regarding housing:
- A $150 deposit + $100 registration fee is required upon reservation.
- Cancellations prior to 2 weeks of arrival date will result in the refund of $150 deposit only whereas cancellations within 2 weeks of arrival date result in no refund of either deposit or registration fees.
- Changes to arrival date result in transfer of deposit and registration fees.
- Housing subject to availability and is available on a first come first served basis.
*Housing solutions offered above are administered by Sarahomestay. It is suggested you give ISL 5-6 weeks advance notice for interest in housing assistance to ensure a place while studying at ISL.
