What is the maximum number of students in a class?
It varies depending on the level of the class; however, the maximum number of students per class is 14. Generally the average number of students per class is likely to be the same.
How are classes scheduled?
Daily class time: 9am to 5pm
In a standard course you will have class for a minimum of four hours a day, with a half-hour break. Classes last for 50 minutes, and take place between 9am and 5pm. Students may have classes in the morning and/or afternoon. This will depend on the current groups, level, type of course, etc.
Are class materials provided to the students?
Yes, all study materials are provided at no extra cost. There are recommended textbooks that students may choose to purchase.
How much English will I learn from taking a course?
This will vary from a student to a student, but if a learner takes full advantage and immerse as much as possible, s/he will be able to speak English much better than when started.
Can I take private classes?
Yes, any student can arrange for private tutoring. In addition to group courses, offers one-on-one class sessions at all levels.
What levels of English does the school offer?
We offer three levels: Beginning, Intermediate, and Advanced and each level provides instruction in all the language four modalities: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing. In addition, we offer specialized TOEFL classes
What kind of Certificate will I receive from the school?
After completing the course successfully, students will receive a certificate for the whole course, if they have attended at least 85% of classes. The certificate will record: the course taken, duration, objectives and level of English, special subjects, additional courses and number of hours. If attendance was less than 85%, the certificate will only record the actual number of hours attended.
How many people share a place?
2 per shared apartment / homestay usually with family of 4, average

When can I move into my accommodation?
This is determined within 1 month of arrival, provided initial reservation was made 5-6 weeks prior as mentioned in the Housing Section.
On average, what’s the distance between accommodation and school?
On average, housing within a 5 mile radius will be priority, however, this is based on availability and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.
Do I need to bring my own towels if I stay in a student flat?
Yes, please bring your own toiletries, towels, linens, etc.
Can I bring my pet with me?
Please contact Sarahomestay directly for arrangements as not all units allow pets.
Can I receive phone calls in my accommodation?
Phone calls are optional and available in the form of a cell phone or pre-paid cell phone, which is readily available for purchase in the area.
Is laundry service included in the price of my host family?
Although you will have access to a washer/dryer, it is the student's responsibility to wash/dry their own clothes.
How can I book my course?

Can I use my credit card to pay for my course?
Yes. You can pay for your course online and pay by Master Card or VISA in our secure booking page. Or, you can send us a written authorization allowing us to charge your credit card.

What if I need to change the dates of my course or the type of course or something else after registering?
Just contact us or if you are already in the school inform the school secretary. To make sure we can accommodate your change, let us know about the change as soon as possible. Important: There is an administration fee of $20 for every change in your enrolment.
